Norwood Park Historical Society

The Norwood Park Historical Society’s 28th annual Holiday House Tour will be held Saturday, Dec. 3, 2011, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The tour begins at the Norwood Park Senior Center at 5801 N. Natoma Ave., Chicago. Five local Norwood Park homes and the Noble-Seymour-Crippen House are on the tour. Purchase tickets by check or cash for $25 the day of the event. Purchase them at the Norwood Park Senior Center at 5801 N. Natoma Ave., Chicago. Advance ticket sales have closed.

What to expect at the Holiday House Tour:

Tickets will be mailed to you up to 10 days prior to the event. After that, tickets will be held under your name at the Norwood Park Senior Center check-in.
Allow 2 to 3 hours to enjoy the homes.
No children under 12 are allowed. Infants may be carried.
Please remove your shoes or put on booties upon entering each home.
Parking is on the street, or you may walk through the neighborhood (be aware of the weather, and dress appropriately).
Add extra time to shop at Victoria's Holiday Boutique for holiday gifts and to sample homemade treats at the Cafe.

Victoria’s 23rd annual Holiday Boutique & Café will be held Dec. 1, 2, 3, and 4 at the Noble-Seymour-Crippen House 5624 N. Newark Ave., Chicago. Admission to Boutique is $1; admission is free with a Holiday House Tour ticket on Saturday or Sunday, Dec. 3 or 4. Boutique hours:

Thursday, Dec. 1: 11 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Friday, Dec. 2: 9 a.m. - 7 p.m
Friday, Dec. 2: 7 - 9:30 p.m.: Girls’ Night P.J. Shopping Party
Saturday, Dec. 3: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m
Sunday, Dec. 4: 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.
